Personality:
Rarely does one come across a princess as down-to-Earth as Anna of Arendelle, but she's the honest goods. Raised without much of the pomp and circumstance that normally comes along with being raised as royalty, Anna spent most of her time growing up alone, wandering the castle that was perpetually empty thanks to the closed gates. As such, she's fiercely independent and willing to take matters into her own hands. Take, for example, her sister Elsa's escape from Arendelle following her outburst. Instead of seeking help or even asking others to help her, Anna doesn't hesitate in asking for her horse and riding off to find Elsa herself. While this may not have been the wisest decision, it was what she believed was right, and Anna refused to leave such an important task to anyone else. This showcases perfectly her rather headstrong disposition. She's stubborn and she follows her heart, even if it means ending up in a snowdrift or two.
Along the same vein, Anna is a very passionate person. She throws herself into everything a hundred percent, even if that's a hundred percent wrong. See: getting engaged to a man she met that day. It isn't the smartest decision, but Anna only wanted to be noticed and loved by someone. She was ready to do anything if it meant receiving positive attention. After being isolated from her older sister for most of her life and losing her parents at age thirteen made her lose her common sense somewhat when it comes to other people, though after the debacle with Hans and her reuinion with Elsa, she seems to regain that to some extent.
On a more lighthearted note, Anna is bubbly, quirky, and has a good sense of humor that probably arose from spending so much time amusing herself with little company as a kid. She's energetic, shown riding her bike around the castle, running and jumping and acting not-quite-ladylike. She's also very awkward, resulting in a lot of "wait, what?" moments, but she also can move past awkward moments quickly without being outwardly self-conscious about it. At the same time, she's relentlessly optimistic, and sometimes that gets in the way of being able to correctly identify the correct course of action or assess the situation. Overall, Anna is a sweetheart with a heart of gold, feisty and ready to save the day--with or without a coheseive plan.
Abilities/Weaknesses: As far as magic goes, Anna is completely ordinary (in the best way). However, she is shown to have a remarkable ability to punch full-grown men over the side of ships, fend of wolves with lutes, and fall into icy streams and not get hypothermia. Overall, we can say that Anna is remarkably hardy and strong for a girl of her size. She still can't ice skate, though, so there's that.

Once she gets used to it, this place isn't too terribly different from Arendelle. Well, aside from the rather adult nature of nearly everything around her, but Anna's just trying not to look too closely at anything. It seems to be working pretty well so far. She's still considering the whole apprenticeship offer, too. While she'd normally jump at the chance to learn magic, to be something besides ordinary, she also doesn't trust this Mistress person one bit.
Plus the doorknobs in the castle are downright disturbing, and she doesn't think she can deal with that on a daily basis.
For the moment, she's put the pending contract out of her mind and decided to take a walk through the woods. Someone told her there was a lake nearby, and she's eager to see what it's like. Plus, if there are no phallic objects present, the better she'll feel, truth be told.
Anna finally reaches it, humming to herself under her breath, and when she reaches the lake's edge, she slips off a shoe and dips her toe in. Seems like a decent temperature, so she goes ahead and shucks her other shoe, lifting her skirts to wade in up to her ankles. The poor princess is too distracted by how nice and quiet it is to notice the tentacles snaking their way through the water toward her ankles.

[Anna looks fairly outraged at the suggestion she go anywhere near anything resembling a penis, let alone set to polishing Mistress's dildo collection. She cringes, taking a meek step toward the row of threatening-looking metal, glass, and wooden dicks.
