[She does as she's told, because she's a Good Girl. She waits with the belladonna pot clutched in her hands, a green silk bow tied around it because she's a princess and has to make things beautiful at all times.]

[ Anna has to wait a little while but the clicking of a key in a door pops in the air and Rohan's bedroom door opens up, revealing him slithering from a blanket of Fog on the other side like a portal. He is tired but still made-up in his typical fashion with looks to kill and lacking any outward depression.

He can't be sad around his gaggle of princesses. ]

I hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long. I'm sorry.

[Anna's whole face lights up at the sight of Rohan opening his door. He'll notice that since he's been gone, she's sprouted a set of beautiful luminous purple mushrooms from her shoulders, and the sunflowers atop her head are now in full bloom. One tendril snakes up over her shoulder and curls around the flower pot, leaving her arms free to throw around Rohan in an excited hug, whether he wants one or not.]

Not at all! I didn't mind. I'm just so happy to see you!

[ By now, he's used to getting hugged and having girls hang off of him like a jungle gym. Anna's hug is reciprocated through Rohan cupping her cheeks in his hand and kissing her forehead. He is never up for hugs but a few people can get away with them.

Mostly Anna. ]

I'm happy to see you, too. You missed me, did you?

[Anna feels herself grow warm and happy at the display of affection from Rohan. When you grew up starved for affection...every little bit is a blessing. She smiles and nods, letting her arms drop and stepping back.]

Of course I did! Very much.

[She's being honest, too. There's no pandering or ulterior motives when Anna says something like that.]

[ He pats her cheeks and lets her go. ]

[Anna only hesitates a little bit, before nodding.]

[ He turns, leaving her with the pot as he slithers back through the door.

Anna will find herself stepping into what looks like a normal living room, drenched in grayscale from floor, to ceiling, to furniture. A fireplace decorated to look like a shrine contains a slow-burning blue flurry of embers.

It looks nothing like what would see in the castle. ]

This was my reward for gaining another tier in Her name. It is an exact replica of my house from where I am from.

[Anna steps through the door, eyes wide as she looks all around her. She'd been expecting Rohan's bedroom, not...this. The nymph does a slow turn all around her, taking it all in.]

This is...incredible! I've never seen magic work like that before.

It's a special kind of magic. One I had to work very hard for. It used to be no bigger than my bedroom...

[ That he plucks from her arms. ]

[She hands over the plant and does as she's told, settling herself down on a sofa with her ankles tucked neatly beneath her. She chews her lip for a moment, considering.]

[Her eyes go a little wide, shifting from that little pile of stones and scales to Rohan.]

...Really? Geez...I knew they were poisonous, but I didn't realize they were that poisonous.

[If that's what Rohan says, then she'll believe him. He's never given her any real reason to doubt him before now, after all. She feels bad for even that smidgen of doubt.

Anna looks up at Rohan with wide green eyes, her lips forming a little smile. It's clear she's earnest in what she says.]

I love living with you, Rohan. I...this might sound sort of weird, but ever since I came here, you've started to feel like...like family. I wouldn't trade that for anything!

You realize that, that means more to me than you will ever possibly understand.

[ He coils up near the fire and somewhere between it and where the nymph is settled. ]

I have been dreadfully lonely for my entire life. I know you have too. This house here? I have lived alone everywhere I have lived since I moved away from my parents.

... You, Jotaro, Lorna, and Josuke are the closest things I have had to a family in years and years.

[Anna beams at him, her hands fidgeting in her lap.]

I'm really glad. I just...I definitely know what it feels like, being lonely. So if I can keep someone else from feeling that way, even if it's just a little bit, I will. Especially you, Rohan. You've done so much for me.

[Her gaze lowers.]

We'll be here for you, Rohan. Me and Lorna both.

[Well that just about does it, doesn't it? Anna's eyes grow impossibly wide, and just a little wet. She laughs, a laugh that almost wants to be a sob, and ducks her head.]

I love you too, Rohan. So much. I've...never had an older brother, but that's what you feel like to me. It makes me feel...safe.

[Which, in a place like this, is saying a whole lot.]

I know Elsa would be glad, knowing I'm with you.

[ The distinct lack of tears in his eyes does nothing for the straight up stinging in his sinuses. ]

Part of why I joined the Fog God is because I wanted to protect my family. That meant all of you. People claim that I do what I have out of my own selfishness, but that isn't the case at all.

She promises that no harm will come to you.

[ Pause. ]

Don't cry, Anna. Especially when I can't anymore.

[Her head still ducked, Anna wipes hastily at her tears, which have started to bead under her eyes like dewdrops.]

I'll try my best. And...for what it's worth, I'll try my hardest to protect you, too. You don't deserve to be sad, Rohan, not for everything you do for all of us. Lorna and I, and Ibuki, and Karamatsu...we all owe you so much. So it's the least I can do to watch our for you the best I can.
